Oral and poster abstract submissions will be accepted for the congress. Abstracts must be prepared in Turkish or English.
- The presentation type must be specified as Oral or Poster. However, the Scientific Committee may change the presentation format based on the scientific program and content of the abstract.
- Case reports and video presentations will not be accepted as oral presentations. Review articles will not be accepted as oral or poster presentations.
- The abstract title must be written entirely in capital letters; abbreviations should be avoided.
- Abstracts must not exceed 300 words. Only the abstract text is subject to this limit; the title, author names and affiliations, and keywords are excluded.
- Authors’ full names and surnames (without titles) and their affiliated institutions must be entered completely and in the correct order.
- Abstracts containing information about the institution, authors, or the city where the study was conducted will not be considered for evaluation.
- The Organizing Committee is not responsible for incomplete or incorrectly entered information.
- The Organizing Committee decides on the placement and format of presentations within the program.
- Abstract acceptances will be conducted online and reviewed by a designated peer review panel.
- A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords are required.
- Oral abstract submissions must include the following sections: “Objective,” “Materials and Methods,” “Results,” and “Conclusion.”
- Case report and poster abstract submissions must include: “Introduction / Objective,” “Case Presentation,” and “Conclusion.”
- Scientific and legal responsibility for the abstract lies with the authors.
- If the person who uploads the abstract and the presenting author attending the congress are different, the presenting author must be marked as “Presenting Author” in the system.
- Abstracts not submitted in accordance with the above rules will be excluded from evaluation.
- Abstracts of authors who have not completed registration and/or who fail to present without a valid excuse will not be published in the abstract book.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
A total of 10 minutes will be allocated for each oral presentation: 8 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for Q&A. The necessary technical equipment will be provided for oral presenters.
Oral presentations may be prepared in Turkish or English.
Presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint format. Please submit your presentations to the technical desk a few hours before your scheduled presentation time.
Oral presenters must be present in the relevant session at the time of their presentation. Delays may disrupt the program and affect other presentations; presenters are kindly asked to be punctual.
To present an oral abstract and have it included in the congress abstract booklet, the presenting author must have completed congress registration. We kindly ask presenters who have not yet completed registration to do so.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster presentations must be prepared in Turkish or English.
The Istanbul Atlas University emblem must be placed in the upper left corner of the poster.
Posters must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint: Design → Slide Size → Custom Slide Size → Width: 77 cm, Height: 137 cm, portrait orientation.
Very small fonts should be avoided to ensure readability. Images, text, and graphics must be legible from 1.5 meters away.
All authors’ full names and affiliated university, faculty/institute/school, and department must be stated; the name of the presenting author must be underlined. The corresponding author’s contact information (email and phone) must be included.
Research poster content must include: Introduction, Material and Method, Results, Discussion/Conclusion, and References. (Images, tables, and graphs may also be added.)
For review posters, the layout and sections are at the authors’ discretion.
